New Obsession: Call the Midwife

On a whim I decided to try something new on Netflix and turned on an episode of Call the Midwife. Hours later and well past my work-night bedtime, I was still watching and had become totally hooked. The BBC/PBS show is about a young midwife living and working with some awesome nuns in 1950s East London. It is both wonderfully light and funny and yet touching and something that makes you think about your own life. One of my favorite parts is the soundtrack – one of the first few episodes (can’t remember which since I power-watched a bunch in a row) had Doris Day’s Que Sera Sera. Perfection! Happy Weekend!
